The right sheet material makes a big difference to how a project looks, how it wears, and how easy it is to install. Cut-to-size providers commonly supply core sheet materials like MDF, plywood, melamine-faced chipboard/MFC and decorative melamine panels, so you can match the board to the job and get it cut to your exact sizes.

Decorative boards and finished surfaces
Decorative boards are a great option when you want a ready-finished surface (like white, grey, oak effects, or textured finishes) without painting. Melamine-faced boards (MFC and melamine-faced MDF) are commonly offered as cut-to-size products and can also be edged for a clean, furniture-ready result.
If edges will be visible, specify which sides need edging so the finished panels look right once installed.
You can request any sizes and quantities — from single replacement panels to multi-sheet cut lists.
Brands and décor codes
Preferred brands and ranges can be requested, including Egger, Kronospan, Saviola and Alvic (subject to availability). Lawcris is a well-known UK decorative panel distributor with major distributorships (including Egger and Kronospan) and supplies products such as melamine faced boards, laminates (including compact grade laminate), edgings and plywood.
If you already have a décor code, include it with your enquiry/cut list and the quote can be built around that exact specification.
Cut to size panel cutting
Provide your sizes and quantities, and panels are cut to your specification for clean, consistent parts. Computerised cutting is widely used across the industry to improve accuracy and consistency.
Edging of boards
If you want a more finished look and tougher edges, request edging on the sides you specify. Panel edging is a standard add-on service for cut-to-size boards, especially for visible cabinet and furniture parts.
Panel bonding to different thicknesses
Need thicker panels for end panels, feature details, or structural components? Request panel bonding to build up thickness (for example 8mm, 16mm, 18mm and other thicknesses on request). Panel bonding is a recognised service offered by major cut-to-size suppliers.
Sheet materials for rips
If you only need strips, rails, or repeated widths from full boards, request sheet ripping as part of your cut list so you receive usable components instead of oversized sheets.
